INITIATIVES FOR SDGs
Plan-Do-See does not simply pursue short-term trends or profits, but aims to be loved and proud of by our customers over the long term.
These efforts are also leading to the achievement of many of the SDGs and the realization of a sustainable society.
Plan-Do-See has been ranked number one in the "Best Companies to Work For Women" ranking for three consecutive years. Since its founding, Plan-Do-See has valued the policy of fairly assessing each employee's abilities, regardless of gender.
To ensure that both men and women can work comfortably and thrive, we thoroughly enhance our employee benefits, including maternity leave, childcare leave, nursing care leave, nursery support, daycare center support, babysitting support, etc. One result of this is that we have achieved a high return rate after maternity leave of 92%.
"Ryotei Kawabun" is a registered tangible cultural property in Nagoya with over 400 years of history, "Ochiairou" is a ryokan in Izu that has been in business for over 140 years and is a registered tangible cultural property, and "Marufukuro" is a Kyoto hotel that was renovated from the former Nintendo headquarters that was founded in 1889. Plan-Do-See utilizes these valuable buildings, helps them flourish, and weaves them into the future.
Plan-Do-See restaurants and wedding halls develop menus that make use of local ingredients. By searching for ingredients unique to each region and serving them using cooking methods that bring out the best in them, we aim to provide both locals and visitors from outside the region with new discoveries and surprises while enjoying our cuisine.
Plan-Do-See has been ranked in the "Best Companies to Work For" ranking for 10 consecutive years, and has been ranked first in the female division for three consecutive years. We believe that each employee's maximum job satisfaction will maximize the company's productivity, so we have thoroughly designed our management system, personnel evaluation, and employee benefits.
Plan-Do-See is actively recruiting foreign members who are highly motivated and fluent in languages. As a company, we also give lectures on hospitality at overseas universities, and we are committed to not only recruiting but also developing human resources.
When it comes to meals at restaurants and hotels, we always try to create menus and portion sizes that will not leave food uneaten. Reducing food waste is a great benefit not only to the environment but also to the company. We also collaborate with organizations that work to reduce food waste, developing menus that lead to the reuse of ingredients.
