How did you meet Plan-Do-See and what made you decide to join?
A senior from university suggested that I go to Plan-Do-See (hereafter referred to as PDS), as it seemed like a good company, so I went to my first company information session.
The case that was introduced at that time was With The Style Fukuoka.
The hotel's customer-centric initiatives were extremely rare at the time, including "minibar included" and "2 p.m. check-out." But what really stuck with me was the words "I am one of the customers."
After further research, I came across a book called PDS Recipe, which contains a total of 50 lessons. This was my main motivation for joining PDS.
Other companies often write about their corporate philosophy and culture in a concise manner, but PDS Recipe has 50 recipes, which helped me to gain a deeper understanding of PDS, and ultimately I became so involved with it that I even personified it.
I thought the personified PDS was a really great guy, so I decided to join the company and pursue the dream that PDS is so passionate about - to bring Japanese hospitality to people all over the world! In return, I hope you will also support my dream!
By the way, my dream has been and has never wavered since I joined the company: to be a good husband and a good father.
If you maintain a good eye and a good heart, you will be able to perceive any event in a better light.
In other words, I am surrounded by good friends, support my friends, and am supported by my friends. I am still enjoying myself to the fullest at PDS so that I can continue to be that kind of person!
I'm married, have a lovely 5-year-old daughter, and am currently living my dream!
What kind of work are you doing now?
We are promoting digital transformation at PDS. Our department is called the DIX Office (an abbreviation for Digital Innovation Excellent).
PDS has contact with 1.8 million customers annually. We have created an environment where all members, regardless of store or department, are aware of and can welcome all of these customers.
Furthermore, we are working hard to create a system that will allow the "members who work at PDS because they want to provide hospitality" to reduce the amount of time they spend on administrative tasks - in other words, the time they can't spend directly with customers - so that they can focus on their beloved hospitality, their own time, and new challenges.
Additionally, as the representative of AnalySys. Inc., a subsidiary of PDS, I sell and deliver "Phorbs," a core wedding and banquet system developed in-house, to other companies, thereby enriching the way staff at other companies work.
We hope to make this the only IT company in the PDS Group even more interesting in the future.

What are the moments in your work that you feel are rewarding?
It may sound cliché, but the most rewarding moment is when customers or members say "thank you."
In other words, it is an environment where you can make a significant contribution to the people you interact with through your own efforts.
At PDS, many stores and staff members are given a great deal of authority, so even first-year new graduates can take on the challenge of "I want to do this" or "I want to try this kind of initiative" with a sense of responsibility.
The DX that we are currently working on is also a major and unprecedented challenge for PDS.
When I think about being able to contribute to approximately 2,000 members and, beyond that, to 1.8 million customers, I feel nothing but excitement and fulfillment.
I feel like just being alive is a blessing, being able to realize my dreams and even receive a "thank you" on top of that.

Please tell us about the atmosphere and appeal you feel after actually working here.
Having worked at PDS for a long time, I feel strongly that it is a very mentally stable working environment.
When something good happens, everyone shares it, and when things get tough, someone is always there to lend a hand and support you.
"Do what you love, with the people you love, in the places you love." I think the greatest appeal of PDS is that it embodies this.
Another thing I felt again from working at the head office was that a great deal of authority is entrusted to the field and each individual staff member.
Although we have had more opportunities to interact with other companies, there is no other company that allows employees on the ground to make their own decisions about the optimal solution for each situation and carry it out responsibly.
For better or worse, we are not bound by manuals, and the overall direction naturally coincides with the decision-making of each PDS member - I feel that this is a rare charm that is unique to PDS.
Please tell us about your future vision.
My vision is the same as the vision of the DIX Room.
All PDS members will use digital technology to evolve "omotenashi" (hospitality),
To become a company that can deliver excitement to people all over the world.
To achieve this, we will foster an organization that is highly mobile, muscular, and flexible, and continues to evolve.
First, we will streamline the flow of scattered data and evolve our hospitality to properly recognize our customers.
Beyond that, we will utilize AI and agents, and leave the "jobs that can be done without humans" to AI and systems,
We want to create an environment where our members can focus on providing "hospitality that only people can provide."
We hope that our colleagues at PDS will be enriched and that the company will be able to continue taking on new challenges.
DIX will support muscular evolution.
