My first encounter with the company was a true coincidence.In university, I was studying to become a nutritionist, so many people around me were doing the same thing, and I was applying to food manufacturers. In fact, the information sessions for food companies were late, so I was working on the dance I had been working on as a university student until December, and I thought I'd just attend the information session forPlan Do See (PDS).At the time, PDS's information session was held in a rented hall, and thousands of people attended. The atmosphere was like a movie, with a focus on video, music, and lighting, and it linked with the dance performances I had done, and I thought, "They're particular about it, they have good taste," and I became interested in them.After that, I interviewed and my desire to apply increased, and I finally thought, "This is it!" because it linked with dance. At the time, I thought that "work" and "what I like" were separate, and that "work" was something you did to make a living, but I felt that PDS was something you could be serious about for the rest of your life.When I was dancing, I practiced a lot every day, and was particular about using this kind of music and creating this kind of space, and I thought that creating time and space and moving people's emotions was what I could do with my life. When I looked back at everything I had done, I saw that it all led me here. The elements involved—taste, style, authenticity, music, fashion, and items—felt closely connected to what PDS was doing.I had never really been to many weddings, restaurants, or hotels before, but when I thought about creating authentic experiences that provide time and space to make people happy, I knew this was the place I wanted to be.

I think my life has become really rich.I think that life and work are considered 100%, not separated, and that is what makes it rich. My eyes and sense for what is real have been refined, I have become able to tell what is first-class and what is real, my eyes have become more discerning, and because I think this is a genuine company, I have become able to see how a person should be and how to put myself in that way, and I think that has sharpened my sense of who I should be.

Another thing is that I've made lifelong friends. The people I'm with now are so great, I can imagine I'll still be having fun with them 20 or 30 years from now. The people at PDS are kind, intelligent, don't get hung up on small things, think positively, have good taste, are stylish, and are all wonderful people (laughs).
